New for 2006, the VK5 combines the control of a flat face pad with the flexibility of a traditional pad. This may be the ultimate butterfly pad. The tri-axis design of the VK5 that allows the pad to bend and flex with the goaltender both while skating and moving around the crease, also providing a stable 90 degree angle while down on the ice. Extensive use of Ultima Dry 1000 gives a comfortable feel while reducing weight.
